Requirements to become a real estate agent
Starting a career in real estate is exciting. Northern Virginia real estate schools can take as little as 2 weeks for day classes, 4 weeks for evening classes. There are also courses where you can study by books or computer and take the tests to finish the real estate class.
After you pass the class test, you take the state exam. Then you get your real estate license. Then you get your real estate license and can start selling homes in Virginia. The classes are held in Fairfax County, Virginia and other parts of Northern Virginia.
Here are the requirements how to get a Virginia real estate agent license:
1) Real estate school (60 hour course). You may visit a school to take the 60 hour course. Note: Virginia has approved online license schools. You may take an approved online real estate license course. The final test by eRealtyCourses, which offers the popular RECampus online course, may be taken at our Reston office.
2) State exam - After you pass the course, you take the offiicial Virginia real estate exam. You answer multiple choice questions on a computer and get your score instantly. The official provider is PSIExams.com.
3) Virginia real estate license - You must work under the authority of a broker. One should interview with the real estate companies. National Realty is actively seeking newly licensed agents.
